Magdalena Borcal joins Thomas as Chief Customer Officer, while former International Sales Director Joe Sanchez becomes Chief Sales Officer
Thomas International has made two senior appointments, enhancing sales and service delivery for its customers as business resumes and world economies begin to recover.
Magda Borcal joined in July as Chief Customer Officer, while former International Sales Director Joe Sanchez stepped into the role of Chief Sales Officer. Both Senior Leadership Team (SLT) members will be focused on delivering Thomas International’s forward strategy to support businesses to succeed through their people post-pandemic.
Most recently, the Vice President of Customer Success EMEA for leading Board Management Software company Diligent Corporation, Magda was awarded “Employee Of The Year” by Women in Business Global. She was Diligent’s fifth employee in the UK and was instrumental in the business’ rapid growth to around 2,000 employees.
Prior to his appointment as global Sales lead, Joe spent two years in the role of International Sales Director for Thomas. Before he joined Thomas, Joe managed a $1B a year in channel sales as Executive Director of Global Channel Sales for leading manufacturing firm Maxim Integrated.

Our unbiased assessments help people to better understand themselves and others, and then we help them use this knowledge to have more effective communication within their teams.
My role is to translate our company strategy into a cohesive go-to-market focus within the sales organisation. I am already working closely with Sales Enablement, Operations, Customer Success, Strategy, Science, Product and Tech, and HR to bring this strategy into the hiring, training, enablement, and performance management practices throughout our global Sales teams.
I am proud to be working with so many gifted and talented Sales professionals at Thomas. If I can articulate the strategy, make their roles easier by taking non-sales-related tasks off their plate, and then simply get out of their way, we will be successful.”
